Who We Are
The Midland Sports Hall of Fame is a member of the Canadian Association for Sport Heritage.
The Midland Sports Hall of Fame was developed to recognize and honour local builders, athletes, and teams for outstanding achievement in their fields. Midland is proud of their sports heroes and through the hard work of the Hall of Fame Committee, these individuals are recognized through the biennial Induction Ceremony and given their rightful place in the Midland Sports Hall of Fame.
Opened in 1996, the Midland Sports Hall of Fame was originally located at the Midland Centennial Arena and consisted of the Wall of Inductees, memorabilia displays, and the Brick Sponsorship Wall.
With its move to the North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre in 2004, the Hall of Fame continues to proudly showcase the inductees with a beautiful new viewing area, along with improved opportunities to display artifacts and memorabilia.
